to wear a Sari
It is generally seen that most of the women in our
world are still aware about the Sari
dress of India. And they don't even know that how
to wear it. So they generally search to
know how to wear a Sari.
To wear a Sari is not as difficult
as it looks. Though, a Sari is wear
in different ways by women in the different respective
states but, a simple way to
wear a Sari is explained below:-
• Hold one side of the upper edge of a
Sari with your left hand around
your waist to feet on your back side
leaving free the pallu side on other end.
• Tuck the top border of inner of a
Sari in to the
petticoat in such a way so that a Sari
may fall up to the floor level.
• Drape a Sari
around the front keeping it on same height.
• Tuck the little top edge of a
Sari in to the
petticoat keeping on same height.
• Make the fold of few straight plates
from the right side and tuck it in to
the petticoat so that the bottom edge of a
Sari should touch the floor level.
• Bring around the other end of a
Sari in your both hand and keep pallu
put on left side shoulder allowing the pallu fall
on your back.
